The Credit Enhancement for Charter School Facilities Program, administered by the Office of Innovation and Improvement in the U.S. Department of Education, seeks to guarantee credit to charter schools to help them become successful, as charter schools often have trouble obtaining credit due to questions about their viability. The purpose of this implementation study is to describe the implementation of the program and to document the program outcomes for charter schools in the first three years.
