College Park, MD - September 30, 2010 - Dr. Mark Turner, President and CEO of Optimal Solutions Group, LLC was selected to serve as a member of the Board of Visitors at the University of Maryland's College of Behavioral and Social Sciences (BSOS). Dr. Turner was formally introduced at the 2010 Fall Board of Visitors Meeting on September 28, 2010.

"As an alumnus of the College of Behavioral and Social Sciences, this selection is a true honor," Dr. Turner said about the selection. "BSOS has a significant place at the forefront of academic social science research, a position from which I have benefited greatly. This is a fantastic opportunity to give back to the university community."

Meeting three times a year, members of the Board of Visitors at BSOS provide insight and guidance to the college's strategic planning process, advise the Dean and staff on critical issues to the college's advancement, assist in researching and supporting the college's philanthropic goals, and promote the college in different settings.
