The purpose of Evaluation of the Impact of Charter School Strategies is to bolster the evidence on the effects of charter schools. The study is collecting and analyzing experimental data to determine the impact of charter schools on student achievement and student and parental satisfaction. The study is also examining how charter schools' impacts are influenced by factors such as the degree of autonomy under which charter schools operate and other key features of charter schools that differ from traditional public schools. The study uses randomized trials to evaluate the impacts of charter school models on student achievement and these other outcomes.
