Optimal provides communication solutions to public and private sector clients including the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The Communications Department’s capabilities span a wide range of services from publication preparation, conference planning, and website and database development and maintenance. The Communications staff strives to ensure that each Optimal-generated product meets applicable guidelines, which may include: 508 requirements; formatting styles used by the Associated Press (AP), American Psychological Association (APA), Government Printing Office (GPO), or other widely-used writing techniques; and layout and design standards.

Optimal Analytics' Real-Time Framework is based on rigorous but flexible design and allows for concurrent data collection, analysis and reporting. It also incorporates a continuous feedback loop for customized stakeholder reporting - ranging from policy makers to the public.
 
Optimal has applied the Framework to projects in its four core policy areas: education; health; housing, economic development and transportation; and workforce development.
