Baltimore, MD -- Optimal Solutions Group (Optimal), the fast-growing economic research and consulting firm based in Baltimore City and Prince George's County, announces the addition of Laurel Davis to its team. Ms. Davis is a research analyst intern. Ms. Davis graduated from Salisbury University in May of 2003, with a Bachelors of Science in Geography and Geosciences, and minors in Mathematics and Geographic Information Science.

Currently a graduate student in the Urban Studies and Planning program at the University of Maryland, Ms. Davis will graduate in May of 2005 with a Masters of Community Planning (MCP) degree. At Optimal, Ms. Davis manages the data and GIS analysis tasks for the 602 Non-Profit Disposition Study. The primary objective of this study is the development of an appropriate methodological approach, including the identification of a set of measures, for the future evaluation of 602 Program.
