College Park, MD - August 12, 2010 - On August 11, 2010, Optimal Solutions Group, LLC (Optimal) welcomed Dr. Calvin Johnson to present as part of its “Brown Bag Series.” Dr. Johnson’s presentation, entitled "Partnering to Enhance Offender Accountability," covered:

• Taking statistical data analysis to the “next level” to protect public safety;
• Managing and mitigating risk in community corrections;
• The change in Washington, DC’s criminal landscape as a result of the Revitalization Act (1997); and
• Key challenges to offender re-entry and stabilization in communities.

Dr. Johnson is currently the Director of the Office of Research & Evaluation at the District of Columbia’s Court Services & Offender Supervision Agency (CSOSA).
