COLLEGE PARK, Md. – January 11, 2012 – The National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) recently awarded the Education Statistics Support Institute Network (ESSIN) task order contracts and indefinite delivery indefinite quantity umbrella contracts for statistical support. Optimal Solutions Group, LLC (Optimal) is among the awardees tasked to provide statistical analysis, project management and coordination services to the support program, as well as research initiatives of the Assessment Division.

The Assessment Division administers the National Assessment of Educational Progress to provide data collection and analysis with the states. It also conducts a variety of education assessment studies at the national level. This contract gives Optimal the opportunity to assist on a range of statistical support activities within NCES and to further provide the nation with educational information and statistics.

NCES is the primary federal entity for data collection and analysis regarding education in the U.S.
