Optimal to Speak at 15th Annual DOE SB Event

College Park, MD- May 18, 2016-- The Forum will house over 600 attendees that will represent all levels of federal, state, local government agencies, the small business community, and large and prime contractors. Mark Turner, Optimal Solutions Group’s (Optimal) president and CEO, will be a panelist at the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Small & Disadvantaged 

Business Utilization (OSDBU) Small Business Forum and Expo in Atlanta, GA from May 23-25, 2016. This forum serves as a way to connect to small businesses with numerous DOE offices and programs that assist DOE’s overall mission of ensuring America’s security and prosperity. Specifically, the Forum features plenaries, educational workshops, and matchmaking sessions to provide small businesses with information on proposal preparedness, marketing, social media, DOE IT opportunities and much more. Dr. Turner will be presenting at the event on the topic, “What is Next When You Graduate from the 8a Program?” – An informational session on Optimal’s experience as a prime contractor for several federal government agencies. Dr. Turner will be joined by other speakers such as DOE OSDBU Director, John Hale III, as well as DOE Secretary of Energy, Dr. Ernest Moniz.
