Optimal supports the CMS’ oversight and coordination of the Medicare/Medicaid Data Match Program (Medi-Medi). Medi-Medi is a partnership between Medicare and Medicaid to identify fraud, waste, and abuse in both programs by evaluating from both programs. As the National Coordinator, Optimal provides means for communication and collaboration through custom portlets on the Health and Human Services Portal, develops quarterly reports of Medi-Medi program results and initiatives, and revises the policies and procedures manual used by CMS contractors to administer Medi-Medi.
